THE GOLD COAST STREET RODDERS, 2012: Continued...
CRUISERS: A selection of the 'very cool' Cruisers on display. 1967: CHEVROLET IMPALA SS: This Impala is powered by a Chevrolet 350ci V8 engine producing 300bhp, driving through a Turbo 400 automatic gearbox. The paintwork is Barcelona Red Metallic and the interior is leather trimmed.
2001: CHRYSLER PT CRUISER - 'BATTLE CRUISER': Beautifully presented, this exhibit included very high end graphics and plenty of engine and internal modifications. Amazingly the vehicle is well used having covered over 140,000km.
THE TROPHY PRESENTATIONS: Cams, bevel gears, turbos, all manner of automotive engine components were massaged together to create some unique trophies, well done.
THE BAND AND RIDES: The band was excellent and the 'hand gestures' during spirited miniature car races left nothing to the imagination!
