The Joey Dunlop Foundation 'Braddan Bridge House': After what must seem an eternity to the Dunlop family, 'Joey's Holiday Home' was officially opened at TT2010 Mad Sunday. The home was opened to the public to allow inspection of the three self contained apartments containing special services for the needs of disabled persons, a special lift and some marvellous pictures of Joey adorning the walls. Linda Dunlop (Joey's wife) and family, John Harris (Joey's Sponsor), John McGuinness (Multi Champion TT Winner) Joey Dunlop Foundation supporters and a very large turnout of visitors witnessed the cutting of the ribbon and the unveiling of a plaque in the home's entry foyer commemorating the opening date and attendees. The home is located on the TT course at Braddan Bridge which is very appropriate. During the open day the perpetual TT Trophies were displayed alongside Joey's RC45 Honda. The Foundation are certainly not ceasing their fund raising duties, another beautiful motorcycle, a Honda CBR600 painted yellow with a black stripe in keeping with Joey's helmet design is to be raffled in 2010. I have recorded some of the highlights of the home, opening ceremony, trophies and motorcycles and hope you find them of interest.....
