SAMMY MILLER MUSEUM - HONDA MOTORCYCLES:
1977: HONDA 305 - TRIALS:
Honda's first Championship-Winning Trials Bike. The
motorcycle was designed and developed by Sammy Miller utilizing his HiBoy
frame
1963: HONDA CR110 - PRODUCTION RACER:
An ultra-lightweight Production Racer for the masses, well not
quite, they were manufactured in very small numbers. The motorcycle was powered
by a 50cc single cylinder four stroke DOHC engine developing 8.5bhp with a top
speed of 150kmh.
1967: HONDA CD175:
A general purpose motorcycle with deep mudguards and a fully
enclosed chain drive, ideally set up for the commuter. The motorcycle was
powered by a 174cc parallel twin cylinder OHC engine. The engine design was a
360 degree crank type which allowed for a single ignition system and a single
carburettor. The motorcycle frame was pressed steel construction. This 1967
exhibit had 6V electrics and no starter motor, however the provision for same is
clearly evident, forward of the crankcase.
