V8 SUPERBOATS - ROUND 4, 2012, 350 CLASS: The 'entry class', 350 Class boats are powered by V8 engines which must be based on standard manufacturers parts, the engines are restricted to a maximum capacity of 360ci. The engines must use cast iron blocks and cylinder heads. Further restrictions include two valves per cylinder, wet sump lubrication, a single 'restricted' carburettor fuelled by petrol or Avgas. Engines in the 350 Class are capable of producing in excess of 500BHP.

#53A: OBSESSION - BRETT THORNTON: 'Obsession' took third place at Round 4 with a fastest lap of 49.478 seconds.
