1958: PORSCHE 356A '1600 S SPEEDSTER': Porsche's US Importer, Max Hoffman requested a unique type of car from American Porsche fans, this light weight Speedster was Porsche's response, incorporating a low line windscreen to reduce drag and plastic side windows. Several different engines were available, this car was powered by a 1,582cc flat four boxer engine producing 75PS. The car was capable of 175kmh.
1960: PORSCHE 356B '2000 GS CARRERA GT': One of the most powerful versions of the 356 sold by Porsche. The car incorporated a 'safety steering system' and hydraulic shock absorbers and optimised cooling of the disc brakes. Power came from a 1,966cc flat four boxer engine producing 175PS. The car was capable of 220kmh.
1962: PORSCHE 356B 'CARRERA 2 CABRIOLET': One of the most powerful versions of the 356 sold by Porsche, and they were in short supply as only thirty four were manufactured. The car was equipped with disc brakes, a luxury interior and it incorporated a 1,966cc flat four boxer engine producing 130PS. The car was capable of 200kmh.
1964: PORSCHE 356C '1600 CABRIOLET' - POLICE: From the early 1950's Porsche supplied 'Police 356's' to both the German and Holland Police Forces.
