THE NSWGR MUSEUM - RAILMOTOR EXHIBITS: My coverage of the NSWGR Rail Museum Railmotors.
1937: THE #FP1 CLASS - RAIL PAY BUS: Six Railcars were manufactured by Waddington Body Company, Granville, New South Wales in 1937. The unique feature was the power plant, a Ford 3.6 litre V8 engine. The first duties as Passenger Railcars were not successful, lasting nominally one year. All six Railcars were recommissioned as Rail Pay Buses in 1938.
