The Sidecar Races 1 & 2: Klaus Klaffenbock and Dan Sayle were considered the team to beat in 2011 after having taken the double at TT2010. The first race went entirely to the script, conversely race two witnessed machinery trouble for the fancied pairing on their Manx GAS Honda powered outfit.

THE ROSTRUM: There were expectations that the  TT2010 winners of both Sidecar races Klaus Klaffenbock and Dan Sayle would again dominate both Sidecar races, they won Sidecar Race 1, however machine trouble robbed the duo of the Race 2 rostrum entirely, the team of John Holden and Andy Winkle took Sidecar Race 2 on their LCR Suzuki powered outfit.

THE CHAMPAGNE WAS REALLY FLOWING!

RACE 2 ROSTRUM: #1: John Holden/Andrew Winkle (1st), #6: Conrad Harrison/Mike Aylott (2nd) and #7: Tony Elmer/Darren Marshall (3rd). Klaus Klaffenbock/Dan Sayle finished the race and were credited with 6th place.
