Motorcycles, yes please, there were Concourse displays, a special BMW Rennsport display, Scooters (or should I say headlights with Scooters attached) and historic racing at the 'Revival', not a huge collection of motorcycles but there were some beautifully prepared machines. My choices were definitely a gorgeous Triton and the BMW Classic Racers.

#ACE!: THE TRITON: The images do not convey how meticulously clean this machine was, simply a perfect example!

#5: BMW CLASSIC RACER: A somewhat less developed BMW as compared to #6 below, however it retains the true look of a vintage machine.

#6: 1965 BMW R50 CLASSIC RACER: Plenty of cooling vents and an oil cooler. Everything about this motorcycle was well done, the seat even has the BMW logo on the back pad.

#14: 1961 MATCHLESS G51: It just seemed to scream 'get on and ride me', marvellous looking classic racer.

#30: 1961 NORTON MANX 500: I keep finding meticulously prepared Norton's everywhere now, TT2009 had some beautiful examples and this example entered in the Barry Sheene Memorial Trophy Race, just great.

#X: 1967 MV AGUSTA 500/3: Not the fearsome racer of Ago's day, heavy frame and muffler supports, upright rear shocks, all so obviously wrong today.

RICHARD BURNS WRX FOUNDATION: Richard would be very proud of this Chopper bearing the Foundation name, really well built.

INDIAN SCOUT: Very good condition, check the width of those handlebars.

LIGHTS WITH SCOOTERS ATTACHED: Well that's my opinion, the real surprise with this lot is that 'Prince of Darkness' Auto Electrical equipment has been used to achieve these arrays of apparently fully functional lighting systems!  Maybe my T150V 'experiences' were an 'isolated' case!

FUN PICS: There were plenty of funny goings on at Goodwood......
