LAS VEGAS:
An amazing city located in the Nevada Desert. I'm not much
of a gambler but I love the place. Vibrant with so many attractions.

THE VALLEY
OF FIRE STATE PARK:
The Valley of Fire State Park is Nevada's oldest state
park, dedicated in 1935. Deriving it's name from the
red sandstone formations that were formed from shifting sand dunes during
the age of the dinosaur, some 150 million years ago, the Valley of Fire
offers a landscape of breathtaking colour and expanse.

THE HOOVER
DAM:
Flooding, drought and the need for Electricity drove the
need to dam the Colorado River. Work on the dam commenced in 1931 and the
last concrete was poured in 1935. Work continued for many years and in 1961
the final seventeenth Generator came on line.

LAKE MEAD:
Created as a direct result of the Hoover Dam construction,
Lake Mead includes massive water storage, a marina, pleasure craft
facilities, water skiing, jetski and a marvellous Paddle Steamer tourist
facility.
