Mysteries, yes I'll admit I do tend to get carried away with
the hype surrounding the 'unexplained'. My favourite unsolved mysteries, include
particularly the disappearance of Amelia Earhart, Area51, the Loch Ness Monster, Stonehenge, the Oak Island Money Pit
and the Nazca Lines in Peru. I'll try to unravel the lot as time permits!! The following have been
investigated, but not resolved, by deejay51 and I hope they are of interest.....

AMELIA
EARHART:
One of Aviation's greatest mysteries was the
disappearance of Amelia Earhart and co-pilot/navigator Fred Noonan during an
attempt to fly around the world in a Lockheed Electra 10E in 1937.
The 'clickable' image is a marvellous photograph of Amelia. |

AREA 51, RACHEL,
NEVADA:
November 2010, 'DEEJAY51' enters 'AREA51', well the
public roads and tourist stop A'Le'Inn nearby at least.
I visited Rachel, Nevada in the full knowledge that the
'alien part' would be somewhat low key, the real surprise was the unique
landscape and total silence along the road leading to Rachel from Las Vegas.
The 'clickable' image is a 'light hearted' duplicate of the
signage mounted on boundary fences of the actual 'secret base'. |

THE LOCH NESS
MONSTER, SCOTLAND:
Nessie, huh, I spent many hours on a boat tour of the
Loch in 2009 in marvellous sunshine whilst enduring massive gale force
winds. Suffice to say Nessie was not at home. Mind you the Loch, surrounds
and infrastructure were all very interesting, a beautiful part of Scotland.

Nessie 'sightings'..... |

STONEHENGE,
SALISBURY PLAIN:
A simple array of rocks just a short distance from the
roadside on the Salisbury Plain, Wiltshire, England. There is just something
about this place, I have been there twice, walked right around many times and I'm still
confused what all the fuss is about, then again......

THE MONEY
PIT, OAK ISLAND:
Seemingly endless excavation works have failed to solve
the mystery surrounding the contents of the Money Pit on Oak Island, Nova
Scotia, Canada. Sadly many lives have been lost during the diggings but the
search continues. I haven't been there yet, but I'm working on
it, Pirates rule................ |
