I simply cannot get enough of these places, so much to see and
discuss the various advantages and disadvantages of so many machines and
accessories.

HONDA HALL, MOTEGI
- RACE BIKES:
The Twin Ring racing circuit at Motegi includes a
somewhat plain looking building called the 'Honda Collection Hall'. The
contents, truly magnificent, the exhibits cover the full spectrum
of Honda's achievements in motorcycle racing.

Honda Six DOHC race engine, circa 1964~1967. Many variants of the
engine are exhibited both within motorcycles and pedestal mounted. |

The Sammy Miller Museum at New Milton, Hampshire, England.

THE BEAULIEU
BIKE
MUSEUM, ENGLAND:
Located on Lord Montagu's Beaulieu Estate, the Motorcycle displays form part of
the overall Beaulieu Museum. The Museum hosts a wide range of mainly British
Motorcycles.

LONDON BIKE
MUSEUM, ENGLAND:
The
Museum is rather small and the facilities definitely need an injection of
capital. Nevertheless there were some interesting exhibits in particular early
incarnations of the Triumph Trident T150V and suspect attempts at massaging an
SOHC configuration onto the Meriden Triumph and BSA Triples of the era.

CLASSIC BIKE COLLECTION, IOM:
Located most appropriately at Kirk Michael in the Isle
of Man, the A.R.E. Classic Bike Collection is located on a property
accessible directly off the TT Course

Located northwest of Santa Barbara, California, the
Solvang Vintage Motorcycle Museum is a privately owned museum offering a
select collection of motorcycles, both original and high quality replicas.

SAN
DIEGO BIKE MUSEUM, USA:
Forming part of the overall 'San Diego Auto Museum', I
have collated the Motorcycle display records here. The museum has an
excellent display of motorcycles with a considerable leaning toward the
Indian motorcycle brand.

PETERSEN BIKE MUSEUM, LA, USA:
Forming part of the overall 'Petersen Auto Museum', the
museum is located in the city of Los Angeles. Most of the displays are car
orientated, however there are some interesting and some 'unusual'
motorcycles on display.

NATIONAL 'MOTORCYCLE
MUSEUM':
The National Motorcycle Museum is located at Nabiac on
the New South Wales North Coast, how does eight hundred plus Motorcycles on
display sound, not including the monster machine parked outside!!

THE
NATIONAL 'MOTOR RACING MUSEUM':
Location, Location, Location... at the bottom of Conrod
Straight in Bathurst, New South Wales. The Museum has very high quality
exhibits of Motorcycles and Cars. Some of the Motorcycles bring back huge
memories to me, in particular machines ridden by Ron Toombs, Gregg Hansford
and Wayne Gardner!! The 'clickable image' is

VINTAGE
JAPANESE MOTORCYCLE CLUB:
The Australian Chapter of the VJMC holds a wide range
of rides and displays of some of the great Japanese Motorcycles of the last
century, tremendous equipment from a great era of motorcycling.

THE CLUB
LAVERDA CONCOURS:
An annual Motorcycle
Concours d'Elegance the Club Laverda Concours was initially held in the
heart of Brisbane, under the Storey Bridge. From 2011 onward the expanding
level of entries and spectator numbers necessitated a move to the Cleveland
Showgrounds on the Bayside, southeast of Brisbane.

PHIL IRVING
CONCOURS - 2012:
The 30th Anniversary Phil
Irving Concours was held at Yeronga, Brisbane. A wide range of Classes
facing the Judges included Veteran, Vintage, Post Vintage, Post War,
Historic, Competition, Military and Sidecar divisions. The Veteran Class had
very few entries, however the quality and finish of the exhibits was
magnificent.
