THE WSBK PIT REPORT: Marvellous machinery, I visited the majority of
'WSBK' race
team pits, chatted to many riders and pit crews, absolutely top people. The
quality of engineering, preparation and paintwork, truly excellent. I also
visited some of the 'WSBK Supersport' and 'Australian Historics Challenge' pits.
THE BMW
MOTORRAD
'TROY CORSER-LEON HASLAM' PIT GARAGES: Davide Tardozzi is
gone, BMW have a refreshed management structure. The motorcycles and general
engineering works look very professional. All they need now is a win
to focus their mindset on winning the overall Championship!

THE BMW
ITALIA
'JAMES TOSELAND - AYRTON BADOVINI' PIT GARAGES: The
'satellite team' if you will, the BMW MOTORRAD ITALIA team appear to have
similar machinery to the BMW MOTORRAD
MOTORSPORT 'factory' team. I had a quick chat with James Toseland and to my
amazement he stated the Factory Team came knocking on the Italia Team
door, enquiring about anything they had
found to improve the setup for
Phillip Island, I expected the enquiring would have
been the other way around!
