THE TASMAN REVIVAL, 2012 - ATMOSPHERE: There was no shortage of atmosphere at the Tasman, enhanced by the Circuit upgrades. My walks around the Pits uncovered considerable activity, mainly the rebuilding of gearboxes in the more powerful cars and some very delicate work on Radiator cores to improve cooling.

SYDNEY MOTORSPORT PARK: The Eastern Creek Raceway was renamed to the Sydney Motorsport Park (SMP) prior to the Tasman Revival. There was more than a name change however, additions to the circuit allowed for multiple track options and a significant change in the overall appearance of the Tower and Pit Facilities all served to enhance the Meeting.
