SUPERCAR CENTRAL: A
selection of the supercars displayed at the Concourse.

McLAREN SLR - STIRLING MOSS:
Category: Supercar Central:
According to a Mercedes Benz press release the SLR - Stirling Moss is
based on the SLR Roadster however the bodywork is carbon fibre wrapped
around an SLR-722 derived 478kW/650bhp supercharged 5.5 litre V8 which is mated
to a five speed automatic gearbox. The car is capable of 350kmh and has a
0/100kmh time of 3.5 seconds. That is seriously fast for a car that has no roof
and precious little windscreen.
Incredibly Sir Stirling Moss admitted during an interview at
the Concourse that he had never driven an SLR-Stirling Moss!
