Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club - March 2010: The 27th Anniversary VJMC Rally once again returned to the Healesville Amateur Racing Club Racecourse, no problems with that, however I had made a prior commitment to attend the 'four day Formula 1 extravaganza' at Albert Park in Melbourne. The logistics of travel were achievable however my time on the ground in Healesville was unfortunately very short. Some marvellous exhibits were again on show, the highlight for me was a pair of Yamaha 250cc Liberty 'Ranch Model' machines. I had never seen or heard of such a motorcycle and a brief discussion with the owners indicated a considerable effort to rebuild the motorcycles to their current condition. Hopefully the following images will convey to you the extent of quality machinery on display.... THE YAMAHA LIBERTY 'RANCH MODEL': Certainly a unique adaptation of the road/trail concept, apparently the model was somewhat exclusive to Australia's shores and Yamaha, Japan do not retain records of the existence of the 'Liberty'.
THE 'SHERIFF' HONDA BOL D'OR: Customised to achieve a unique look, this Honda Bol D'or certainly is different.
THE HONDA FOURS: No VJMC Rally would be complete without a significant contribution from the stable of Honda 'fours'.
MOTORCYCLE SHOWS AND MOTORCYCLE MUSEUMS: Please continue viewing my records of Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club Shows I have attended by selecting from the following...
