This class specifically includes
Post Classic & Forgotten Era 750cc and Post Classic & Forgotten Era
Unlimited machinery, four races were held
over the weekend, each race incorporated four sub classes. Each photograph has
a description in brackets of the motorcycles relevant sub class, as follows:
(PC 750): Post Classic 750cc, (PC
UNLIM): Post Classic Unlimited, (FE 750): Forgotten Era 750cc and (FE UNLIM):
Forgotten Era Unlimited.
Some of Australia's best riders
competed including Robbie Phillis, Mal Campbell and Warwick Nowland. Overall
Robbie did extremely well consistently completing each race, conversely whilst
Mal Campbell set a new outright Forgotten Era lap record he took a tumble on
the XR69 on the Sunday luckily sustaining minor injuries, he was however
unable to take part in the final Parade Lap with Croz and Magoo. Warwick took
a severe tumble sustaining considerable injuries on the Sunday due to a
reported front brake calliper failure.
