Ballarat Botanical Gardens: The Ballarat Botanical Gardens celebrated 150 years of 'growing history' in 2007. The gardens are beautifully maintained, include a somewhat surprising monument to Scotland's William Wallace and have a profound Memorial adjacent for Australian Ex Prisoners of War.
