The 2009 Ramsey Sprint:
Always a great draw card, I adore Ramsey and the machinery did
not disappoint! The 'track' is actually a 'one eighth of a mile' section of
Mooragh Promenade, which runs parallel with the northern coastline of Ramsey.
THE HAYABUSA FILES: Seemingly unburstable, the
venerable Suzuki Hayabusa receives quite a work over by some owners. The line
between pure Show Bike and Sprint Racer can appear very wide when appreciating
the amount of detail on some of these machines.

THE HARLEY DAVIDSON V-ROD: Well presented,
personally I would have painted the frame another colour. The Radiator shroud is
substantially 'narrower' than standard.

ANOTHER 'HUGE' TYRE |
TTXGP SPRINT BIKE: The Kingston University/LifeBatt
Team had a very sophisticated entry in the TTXGP,
details here. The Team also developed a Sprint Bike for Ramsey,
suffice to say it was a 'first attempt at Ramsey'. The runs were expected to be
'quiet' but also offered very little forward motion!!

NO NOISE, NO TYRE SPIN, ALL HAPPENING.

Concourse: The
2009 Concourse De Elegance, located adjacent the Sprint 'Track' had healthy
numbers and some very well presented machinery.
