THE WINTERNATIONALS, 2012 - TOP DOORSLAMMER (T/D): ANDRA Pro Series Top Doorslammer entrants use methanol fuelled and supercharged V8 engines to achieve 400kmh terminal speeds at nominally 5.7 seconds. The car bodies are based on Production Sedans, ranging from 1950's era American Muscle Cars to Australian late model Holden Monaro's. The car bodies do there best to conceal 'full race chassis' underneath.
#TD/846: FUCHS/PROCOMP MOTORSPORTS HOLDEN MONARO - JOHN ZAPPIA: John, the reigning four time ANDRA Top Doorslammer Champion was supreme at the Winternationals 2012, taking out his fifth straight Championship. John not only won his fifth title, he also set a national record for the category of 5.75 seconds in the second round of qualifying.
