V8 Superboats

V8 SUPERBOATS: I have spectated and photographed a wide variety of Motorsports, however nothing prepared me for my first taste of Jetsprint V8 Superboat Racing. Amazingly it all happens on a very tight circuit, with massive power and non stop action!

TWEED HEADS, ROUND 3, 2013:

More power, more technology, blowers, twin turbos, huge velocity stacks and quoted horse power ranging from 700~1600HP, very serious numbers for lightweight craft tackling a very tight circuit.

A mixture of Drag Racing, Rallying, Jet Skiing, this sport has it all. With over 1,600BHP available to boats in the Superboat Class the action, noise and agility is second to none.
