THE CHEQUERED FLAG: #1: Team Suzuki rider, Josh Waters,
won the pole position shootout on Saturday, started the race on the #1: machine
and appropriately took the chequered flag at the end of Eight Hours racing.
THE POST RACE 'SUZUKI SCRUM': Normally I would refer to
the immediate post race interviews etc., as a 'media scrum', this was definitely
a 'Suzuki Scrum', an excellent result for the Japanese Manufacturer.
THE ROSTRUM: Suzuki, 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

A CLEAN SWEEP BY SUZUKI 'GSXR' MOUNTED
TEAMS, #1: TEAM SUZUKI 1st (centre), #11: TEAM SUZUKI 2nd (lhs) AND #18:
CUBE RACING 3rd (rhs). AN AMAZING FEATURE OF THE PODIUM WAS THAT JOSH
WATERS WAS PART OF THE WINNING TEAM, HIS BROTHER BRODIE WAS PART
OF THE SECOND PLACE TEAM AND HIS OTHER BROTHER NICHOLAS WAS PART OF
THE THIRD PLACE TEAM. |
